SANDXPELL is a complementary feed for horses, which contains psyllium husk, a fiber contributor. It is suitable for feeding as a nutritional supplement for horses in the paddock on surfaces that have earthy areas, or horses that spend a lot of time on sandy soils.

Horses working on sandy soils or spending short periods on earthy pastures are at risk for colic as they are subjected to ingesting sand / earth. Sand or earth if accumulated in the gastrointestinal tract can cause intestinal obstructions. With the use of, Sandxpell helps the healthy activity of the entire gastrointestinal system.

Sandxpell contains Psylluim husk:

• Psyllium husk is used to assist in the removal of sand build-up in the intestinal tract.

• Psyllium husk is rich in soluble fiber, as a result when water is mixed with mucilage and hemicellulose the psyllium forms a slimy / slippery mass.

• Psyllium peel acts like a sponge in the intestinal tract, absorbing water and waste. This in turn produces the formation of a soft mass, which causes the occluding materials to flow out faster.

• Psyllium peel has a prebiotic effect by promoting the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria.
