THERAXIDIN AURICULAR DETERGENT is a solution formulated for the prevention and control of otitis externa in dogs and cats; Using it for cleansing, it associates the delicate antiseptic properties of Chlorhexidine with an effective removal of excess earwax thanks to the action of its active ingredients, while restoring the physiological environment of the external ear.

The active ingredients of the formula are:
Chlorhexidine 0.2% : molecule with bactericidal activity used in clinical practice for the topical treatment of skin infections; at this concentration it has no oto-toxic action, so it can also be used in animals with perforation of the eardrum, always under the advice of the veterinarian.
Salicylic Acid : performs a keratolytic action and at the same time reduces the pH of the stratum corneum, increasing its hydration Citric Acid: without altering the skin's bacterial flora, this natural acid acts against the formation of bad odors and regulates the skin's pH.
Squalane : emollient substance, with a strong skin protective action, as it regenerates the protective lipid film and allows a reduction in the evaporation of water from the deep layers of the epidermis, thus allowing the restoration of auricular well-being.
