BT Neck is an orthopedic brace designed to help dogs and cats with cervical vertebrae problems, crushing of the vertebrae, neurological problems and hernia problems.
The compressive effect of the brace guarantees compression and traction of the neck and protects it even in the event of injuries.
Also useful in cases of obsessive-compulsive disorders.
The secondary function is to be a valid alternative to the Elizabethan collar, which prevents the dog from biting the area of ​​the body on which an operation has been performed.
In this way, the dog will not be able to remove the stitches or ingest medical products applied to the wound, protecting the areas of the chest, belly and hips and making it difficult to reach the areas near the front leg (from elbow to shoulder).
The perianal area involved in any interventions to remove paranal glands, fistulas or other is also protected.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

• The BT Neck collar is not suitable for greyhound and bulldog breeds. The long neck of the former does not allow for stability of the brace, while the short and stocky neck of the bulldog does not allow the application of collars.

• For correct use, it is important that the collar is tight around the neck, to prevent it from rotating.

• While using the rigid collar, the dog can be taken for a walk using either the collar or the harness.

• During any 24-hour period, remove the collar for 1 to 2 hours.
