Lanco toys are 100% natural rubber, and are born from the sap / milk of Hevea brasiliensis rubber trees. The Hevea tree is the natural source of the material used to create these cute little characters. Rubber harvesting takes place sustainably without the use of herbicides. The bark of the tree is etched so that its white sap, known as latex, drips out and is collected in cups. Natural rubber is safe, non-toxic and easily biodegradable. The latex is molded and then hand painted with non-toxic colors. It is completely free of PVC, BPA, Phthalates and nitrosamines.
