It is a valid support in relieving itching, a consequence of allergic dermatitis caused by insect bite hypersensitivity (IBH Insect Bite Hypersensitivity), a common phenomenon and seasonal condition in horses and ponies.
Cavalesse® is a complementary feed that contains Niacinamide (an essential vitamin) which increases the amount of natural fats on the surface of the skin which act almost like a natural “protective barrier” thus promoting the reduction of irritation and redness, especially during the summer season.

HORSES AND PONIES < 500 KG: 2 ml once a day, preferably in the evening.
HORSES > 500 KG: 3 ml once a day, preferably in the evening. PAE176 If the redness does not reduce within a month, the quantity can be doubled. Ask your Vet for advice if in doubt. IMPORTANT: Start administration preferably 3 weeks before the expected period of insect bites.
